thx for the reply andy, i do like some drive too, in fact lots of times when im doing the sweeps the signal is already overdriven a little bit so i just want to do a clean sweep with 3 to 4 db of resonance, anyways I will try your tip and i will send you a sample. You have a customer for life |

Still can't stop listening to One Sided Tranny. That resonance, it's a thing of beauty, so warm and sticky and glowey; especially in the HPF, which are often left out in the cold while the LPF gets all of the warmth and attention. |

k Still no date set in stone yet, sorry! Don't waste time messing around chiseling stuff in stone. Finish the damn plug in and type a release date on your computer and post it! BTW, that One Sided Tranny demo sounded f'kn fantastic. I'm glad I passed on FXpansion's filter. No comb filters in The Drop. I'll do an in depth analog modelled bucket brigade delay in the future which will do comb filtering and chorus etc. |

Isn't there enough EQ's out there already?
I recently bought this old yamaha analog delay and I would be more than happy to replace it with a good BBD delay plugin. Something with more features but with analog character. I got some delay plugins but none of them sound exactly like BBD. There is Echoboy of course but I've chosen to stay away from dongles. New delay unit from cytomic is great news for such a reverb & delay junkie such as myself |

With the technology in The Drop I would be a fool to not do an EQ as it's very similar algorithms under the hood. I will most likely do an EQ and another compressor before doing another more creative plugin like a BBD. |

Thanks sendy and homunculus! It's good fun doing little song demos with their constraints in showing off features of a plugin, but I am looking forward to writing some proper songs again after the release of The Drop, it's been around 6 years. |

Thanks Sendy! I double checked with the synth diy community and can confirm that my custom high pass ms20 circuit design is completely original, so I'm quite proud of that and I'm glad you liked it in particular |

Andy, since it's highly related, check the Threeler filter. I think it's a really great, pretty ideal design. It's what I've always wanted. I suggest adding something like that to your filter plugin eventually. (I'll have a Threeler here in a couple of weeks, I could send some samples) ---- "Music is spiritual. Really nice move there. What a certified douche. Let the guy finish his plugin. We know that Andy doesn't push vaporware. The Glue took a long time to finish too, but it was well worth it. This is what makes guys like him a cut above the rest. The last thing we need is another company that rushes half-assed, buggy products to sale in order to meet release deadlines. fanboi much... just saying it sounds great. better to get it out asap, even if only has 5 out of 7 filter types, the extras can be free marketing. Early bird catches the worm, and I just hope there aren't too many other filter products cannibalising the market for this before it gets released. you can interpret that how you like... |
