*phew* I spent a long time on this, and have been planning to redo this song for several months now (I began planning to redo the song a week after I released the original). But finally, I sat down and decided, "No, I am tired of just going back over my old songs, redo the mastering and production on them, maybe add a few new licks in there, and change some synth sounds. I want to reimagine this song completely!" So, I began. I opened the old project and saved down the MIDI and pasted it on to a new project (funny story, this song sounds ridiculous when it's entirely played by pianos) and I completely rewrote most of the existing melodies and the way things flow. Now Things groove and flow from one phrase to another, the kick is like a punch to the stomach, the snare is like a bitch slap to the face, and the hihat stings like a swarm of angry bees. You can feel this song grind and crush and rip through the airwaves. Impulse 2.0 on Soundcloud or Impulse 2.0 .mp3 link or Listen to the old version Via the Cloud Lastly, I have started doing bi-weekly podcasts. It's there to help promote artists that need or want the free publicity. Granted I only have a handful of listeners so it isn't reaching out to many more people, but it's still there to help. I would appreciate it if you guys would take the time to listen to it. Also, feel free to contact me if you wish for me to promote your music through the podcast. Listen to it via the Cloud |

'Tis just a bump in hopes someone will leave a response to the song. So far from what I heard on another website it isn't very good, but I still want KVR's opinion because their opinion I respect more than anyone else's. |

I'm not really into this kind of music, but I like the very strong beat, and the transitions to different moods. Very creative approach, good development of your idea of a genres-changing thing.
I can't be of help on technical side (production-wise) but I enjoyed it. Cheers |
