I'm guessing there will be an upgrade available to A|M Suite+, once it's released in VST format. Could you confirm/deny this? The '+' is am-munition which was developed after v1.0 was released as VST back in 2007. So I'm pretty certain we'll make ammo available for the update. I personally do hope that comes at no extra charge for existing customers, but I have to get this acknowledged by the product mangers on next occasion (most of that team are still on Easter holidays). |

Speaking of Updates, Sascha... when's that Vandal update coming? It's been really quiet on that front, it almost feels like it's been abandoned. I remember further developments like more stomps were promised, which was one reason why I bought it. |

We have the Update round the corner, which is based on the version from ProX, but we need to attach new code for the non-Sam/unlock handling. That was a leftover relic from the win32-only days, and I had to wait for the colleagues, since the unlock technology is the same with all major products of Magix, and it recently got refactored. Everything else in the plugin is already x64-compliant. The unlock thing is shared code which is also used for eFX, the suite plugins and VariVerb. So, once I get that done for one project (next 2 or 3 weeks), all others inherit that mechanism. Then thing can go fast and only depends on how quickly installers and testing goes along. [I know, people got accustomed to small companies being real fast at that. The bigger the company, the more people ivolved, the more interaction or schedule collision might occur, so the more time things might take.] Since v1.004, we improved a couple of stomps, included a multitap delay thing and added a spring stomp, which recently got re-tweaked and is perhaps among the most authentic you might find (at least among the ones that don't use IRs and do real dispersive mass-spring modeling). We'll also make the new midi-control & patchlist thing available then. It'll definitely make the product more mature for midi or live applications. |

No extra charge would be cool, but I do notice there is an "upgrade" option in my account. Not sure if this a generic site thing or a pre-emptive move. Really looking forward to the update. This suite still holds up well after all these years. Probably because I'm one of those people that always swore by Blockfish Thanks for the reply... |
