If yes, how?
If no, why all those midiports? 92midiports/16midichannels=5.75. So Receptor has 5.75 Receptor instrument channels, am I wrong? thanks |

It's possible with Uniwire:
-On Uniwire Channel One you have e.g. Kontakt running 16 channels, each addressed separately from your DAW -On Uniwire Channel Two you have another Multi-Vst etc. So you can already use 256 Midi Channels Then you can access inserts FXA FXB FXC and Mix Section Midi Channels on each Uniwire channel. Same for global FX Channel A, B and Master Channel You could argue that you won't use 16 Midi channels on a Reverb or Mix Section... but you still have fun with 332 Midi channels (16x16 + 19x4) on 92 Midiports (92 ports: 16 Uniwire Channels with Source Vsti, FxA, FxB, FxC, Mix Section ports 2 Effect Bus Channels with FxA, FxB, FxC, Mix Section ports 1 Master Channel with FxA, FxB, FxC, Mix Section ports) morphbay |

Very nice explanation, thanks. So, it has to be a multitimbral vst, right?
If not,can you, please, tell me what average CPU usage Receptor shows with 48 Synth1 playing a simple patch? Maki |
