Alchemy Player: is there a way to create a favourite folder?

I finally thought I will go through all my Alchemy presets and add.libraries but realise it's not exactly an easy task to create a sort of favourites folder. How do you guys do it? I figured out that I can create my own banks within the Windows file structure but how do I get my favourite presets in there without going the manual copy and paste procedure? I like it the way Native Instruments or Nexus does it: if you like a preset you just right click "add to favourites" and that's it.

"Add to favourites" is something we hope will be part of the v1.30 preset browser update, which is likely to also be made available for Alchemy Player. Until then, yes you will need to manually copy / paste the presets to a new folder.

Peace,
Andy.

In the forthcoming 1.30 update which we hope to release later this year, there will be a fully featured browser with tagging, rating and favourites Smile In the mean time you could create an Alchemy/Presets/Favourites folder and instrument sub folders and copy your favourites in there - but I'd recommend waiting for new browser.

Oh great. Thanks for this update. I'm looking forward to the new browser. Glad you guys keep improving a great VSTi. 64-Bit was on top of my wish list which you fulfilled recently. Smile

It's been a while. Any news on Alchemy 1.3 and a preset / favourite browser?
