I just noticed a high nassty noise - kinda like digital distortion on all my alchemy sounds.
I use logic pro 9. I only noticed when I listened to the mix I did using the 'Gran Piano' patch on the macbook speakers to refernce the mix. Thought it was just the piano sound's idiosyncracies. But on checking othere sounds - there it is. Turned down the master volume - still there Any ideas??? Thanks. |

Hi,
Sorry for the delay getting back to you about this, needed to find some time to test. I can't immediately reproduce the problem using either Logic 9.1.7 or Ableton Live 8 on 10.6.8. The first thing to try is forcing a rescan of the Alchemy plugin by following these instructions: 1. Open Logic with an empty project 2. Select Logic Pro -> Preferences -> Audio Units Manager 3. Type "Camel" in the search field 4. Highlight Alchemy in the list of plugins 5. Click the "Reset & Rescan" button Alchemy will be validated by Logic, which will take a few seconds. You should see a success message. Close the AU manager windows and open your project. Does the problem still occur? Assuming this is still a problem, best thing to do is send a simple Logic project illustrating the problem to alchemy-beta [at] camelaudio [dot] com. If that's not possible, posting a render of the problem would be the next best thing. Thanks. Peace, Andy. |
