A short piece attempting to sound like an all hardware rock instruments. Guitar is only hardware instrument. I just bought it after 14 years without having any guitar. Found a 90's Korean Hamer for $100

This is by far the best $100 guitar that I have ever owned, the first actually.
It is one of the first guitars that Hamer had manufactured in Korea. At that time, they ensured that it was high quality so the mahogany wood is excellent. They took shortcuts with pups using "Designed by Duncan" HB103's, but those same designed pickups are going into import Jackson guitar today 20 years later.
I bought BFD several years ago but have kept up with the updates. Is there a BFD 2, and does it sound a lot better than what is on this recording or BFD general? I like BFD very much, AS you can EQ the default sets for just about any music you would want to play. That's what I love about it, the versatility and authentic sounds, even the cymbals if you use the proper effects.
I seem to get better bass from analog emulations like arturia's minimoog or NI's Massive over digital reproductions from the M1 or wavestation. I really need a good rock sounding bass vsti. Any suggestions appreciated. I like VSTI's under $150.

check out the bass on this:-

The VSTi used here was free. No controls or presets. Very basic but sometimes quite convincing, especially with a decent EQ job
Google for 4Front Bass

That nice and deep plus has a defined high end that lets it cut through the mix. Thanks for the tip and I will download and try it out.seismic1 wrote:check out the bass on this:-
