am thinking about it. all my plugins are now 64bit (au, on mac) EXCEPT sylenth1.
and there's no indication ANYTHING will EVER be updated for this plugin. sylenth1 is a fave; i love the sound of it, have a great library for it. i've been using it a lot. but am frustrated to not see it move forward in any way. so thinking of moving to predator, or diva, or something... anyone? any thoughts? |

Does it still work in Logic bridge in 32 bit mode? (assuming you're using Logic). If so, I personally wouldn't stop using it.
I use a Mac and Live 8 which is still 32 bit only. If Live 9 goes 64 bit but Sylenth still works via some sort of bridge, I'll certainly keep using it. If it doesn't work then hmmm, maybe I'll have to consider dropping it. All that said, lack of Mac 64 bit really does Lennard no favours but hey, he's obviously a smart cookie and well aware of the implications of his (non) decisions. |

a Ha so true...but seriously Sylenth still has that "IT" factor for me - harmonically speaking - compared to everything else. ---- If you read the constitution, You hear better http://soundcloud.com/section-d-records www.soundclick.com/theresistanceband |

Not moving forward? What are you talking about? Why it just had a new beta released recently, only just ummm, a couple years ago or something.... It's clearly moving along nicely.
Ya I ditched it. ---- This is a block of text that can be added to posts you make. There is a 255 character limit. Once I have something clever, I will certainly fill it in. |

Ya I ditched it. i have a lot of music, and every song has several instances of S1. so it would be a BIG deal to abandon it. i've thought of spending a weekend (!) bouncing each part to audio...THEN deleting the plugin (so i NEVER use it again LOL). but...not ready to do that yet. obviously, there's no future for sylenth1; no movement on the beta, no 64bit mac au... so, something to consider... |

I really wonder why Lennard is not responding. I mean IF he would say that he is still coding, a lot of people would buy Sylenth immediately.
And if he says "no" then I dare to say that no harm is done because those who have been endlessly waiting for an answer won't buy anyway. My opinion is that any answer would show his respect for potentials and loyal customers. But well... in the meantime I got NI Massive and while it's not really on par with Sylenth there are some great sounds and Trance banks which give me a good sound in combination with Logics ES2. Cheers Tom |

İts so rude of him not even saying a yes or no to paid customers. So disrespectful.

He responded just to a thread here ---- Developers! Developers! Your plug-ins should be circuit modeled!!! It's the shizzz! Also don't forget oversampling & 0dfb filters! |

For quick reference, here's his post. I guess things finally reached a tipping point, but when nothing's said, rumors and speculation naturally follow, no? He should make that post a sticky. I'm glad he finally came out and said that though. I was considering buying Sylenth, but was worried I'd have a difficult time receiving my license due to non-responsiveness or something similar. This is good news.
I also want to say to Lennard that I made (or tried to make) a joke on that other post, which has been deleted since. I recognize that it was a little distasteful, and apologize for the same. |
