Hi,
In fact, this message is for master Col, (biomechanoid), Camel audio's special sound designer. Your biolabs library is my favorite: superb "post rock guitar", very usable drum kits (the synthesized Alchemy kit is by basic drum kit)... Superb sounds in each category. Your drum loops, especially "bunch ov beats" and "Loop construction kit" are outstanding, because they make Alchemy to a kind of original drum machine. It's not just like playing loops, but creating your own by assembling loop pieces. The changes you can apply to the sound and to the loop itself just with the controls of Alchemy's simple interface (or the Alchemy Player) would impress every drum machine aficionados. So Col, what next? We need another bunch ov beats, another loop construction kit (why not a full rhythmic library?). Cheers, Raymond www.marginalray.com |

thanks ray. glad you are liking the sounds. yeah, a loop / phrase library is certainly a possibility. can't say anything definite at the moment, but it might make sense to leave this kind of library til after v2, as it should have support for slicing and provide even more scope for manipulating loops in a flexible and useful way. having said that, we do have something in the immediate pipeline which should be of interest to people wanting interesting loops ---- [ Camel Audio Alchemy ] [ ucn netlabel ] "Its my firm belief that its a mistake to hold firm beliefs" |
