There's you on the internet talking about something you never tried and have a faulty understanding of, correcting someone... I take your point. |

OK so the newest version of VE Pro runs more than one MIID port for AU plug ins but you defend stating that it's some arcane workaround because for the older version it is??
You have never used VE Pro and DP together by your own admission but you based your statement on a single bug in a new feature that a developer said he's working on a bug fix for. You also state that DP has a lot of legacy code. You simply do not know that as fact, complet and utter conjecture on your part. What you're doing is spreading rumors. That, is exactly what I was trying to convey to you by pointing out that if you were to base your choice of software off of rumors and accusations you personally would never use Cubase, as it has the most horror stories and bad press of any DAW. I'm not pulling your chain, you're the one popping up in a DP8 thread talking about "legacy code", and "reports of problems" even though you claim you don't use DP. If anything you're pulling mine. |

I used DP many moons ago. I recall one could build custom midi control panels for external hardware, my Waldorf Pulse would like this! I'm ok happy with Sonar X1, but will give this a look-see once it's available. ---- i got the moves like Wyman... |

Well, I've heard it's still a Spring release, but MOTU haven't always been 'on time' with these things, ya know?

What's not to like about Vapor-DAWs? They're feature complete while getting more features with every thread and you never have to waste precious KVR posting time reading a boring manual. Tracktion 5 FTW! ---- perception: the stuff reality is made of. |
