Hi i am using albino 3 latest update in cubase 6.I have tried to automate the filter and volume but it dosent seem to work.The automation draws in the lane in cubase,but when i play back i cant hear the automation.
Can i do this with albino?

It should be able.
But for this I always use midi controller data.
Much easier.

It is different with Albino3.
There it is called midi control. But it is essential the same.
You can also save the setup (ECS)

Apologies for bumping this thread but since it is the exact question I had, I thought I would weigh in.

Automation doesn't seem to work for me, either

This is with Cubase 6 (64 bit) / Albino3 64bit

Using ECS->midi CC still works, though.

I don't know whether it is easier these days. Cubase 6 is pretty great drawing automation in with the method that doesn't work, also.

Personally, I'd like to see both methods working. But I will be able to live, either way.

Could be that in Albino3 it is latched already.

I have the same problem. I've used Albino on 32 bit Cubase 5 for a couple of years, but just switched to 64 bit and now it didn't respond to any automation.

I had drawn automation in but the parameters didn't change, visibly or audibly.

But...

I noticed the number indicating the parameter value on the track wasn't moving to reflect the curve, so I moved it manually, and suddenly it started moving on its own. I tried again on another track and the same trick worked. Closed and reloaded the file, and automation was still working.

So not a major inconvenience but a bit strange.

i dont know how to use midi cc.
can someone explain to me?
