Ah, that would make sense. There were some blips that I panned left, a snaps I panned right, and some static that accompanied my snare which stayed center stage.
I'll take a look at it, I don't think I want to remove them completely, so I don't think I can make this song your cup of tea, but I will see if I can make it less...obnoxious, I suppose. See I did put a hair of a swing on all my percussion, and that might be one reason why those blips and bloops just don't mesh well with the song. I'll see about putting them right in the pocket and see what that changes, maybe drop a few hits. |

Reduce the "swing" factor to subtle and it'll probably work a lot better imo. |

Whatever changes you made have made it listenable for me now. (God I hope he made changes..i'd look pretty stupid if he didn't! I like the militaristic Cossack/kraut rock feel. The snare and the hats are 8bit Commador trashed. I think it works, but is the source of some of the sound complaints from others. Quote: ...maybe drop a few hits.
Yes. This might get you closer to the Elfman sound. He did a lot of experimenting as well. ---- "For many individuals with mental illness, creativity is a valued and central part of their identity." |
