@ SoundSonicTeam: Valid points about the NI thing. I'm not closed to NI doing future good things, but I feel they're not headed in a direction I agree with. I'm interested in upgrades to NI products I have, but my desire to use Kore makes that problematic. They've taken away my primary interest in their product catalog, without providing an equal replacement & smooth transition. I still believe those products are strong.

Yeah, it's all iPad crazy, I'll be interested how popular it gets without the ergonomic touch, there's always something nice about twisting a pot, especially one live performance. It always appears that the iPad is too fragile to be rock 'n' roll!!

I voted other. While I enjoy NI Komplete and Maschine, they aren't my "favorites". I would list them as amongst the favorites that I have tried. I also enjoy U-He Zebra, and CA Alchemy. Again, it's mostly because I have tried them and like the quality. Camel Audio has been great with tech support, and I have never needed tech support with U-He. Native Instruments has a great overall quality, but I sent them a request for support once and it was never answered. Thankfully, I figured it out on my own. So, I felt the only thing to do was vote "Other".

I voted Other, instead of Audiorealism, that wasnt in the list for some mysterious reason.
Both for the excellent and still unbeatable sound (imo), and also for mike being such a nice guy!

GForce isn't there either. Oddity is my second most used synth.

Good reply, that's really interesting. You mention the response time and how that reflects on a company - it sadly takes away the quality of the product. The customer service seems to run porportionally with size of the company sometimes. But to look at it at another way it takes the attention of alot of users to build on the quailty of a brand and expand Research and Development so to bring products quicker to the market place. Take the Maschine, so good, but it needed NI to be what it is to be here now!

Customer service does make a huge difference. I appreciate responsiveness to customers; I'm used to Zingerman's Deli here in Ann Arbor (they train corporations on customer service), the cast members in Disney World, the folks at the forums for PG Music and Garritan, and many of the people mentioned above here at KVR. Especially Andy at Camel, Steven at Team DNR, Urs, Bronto Scorpio, aMUSEd... they rock.
