FLS performance mode will be hitting the public in the next hour or so, so Bitwigs will be playing catch up to two well established hosts now in the performance arena, I hope they haven't completely overestimated their own value.

Now that I've tried fruity (with a very sour taste AGAIN I might add) again and do not like the way the performance mode works much, I'm starting to actually become impatient about this again.

I want to know about that CPU efficiency......INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW!

Because of the different windows shapes they must be hiding in the back part of that long building. But there's no streetview data availible for the street along. This decreases my chances for a beta ticket Very Happy

what did you not like about the performance mode in FL? I have been trying this out for the past couple of days and I think it's better than live in most areas

It's a shame but they are going to get lost in the shuffle unless the time they've taken includes their 2.0 stuff.

With FL performance, reason RE (not really that exciting but still something), and live 9 probably coming sooner than later, traktor 2.5, makes it hard to grab people's money

we'll see

I disagree. If they get the CPU optimization right, they are in for some good lovin'.

FL won't work on my system (way too high cpu use, all those "wrapped" x64 bit plugs and it's a mess imho), live 9........are you joking? We've been waiting...........how long??? And to add, if they don't have a bunch of extra crud that runs only in DEMO MODE like fl.........yuck...

I think IF it can get into PB in the next 2 months, has efficient CPU use, and WORKS, it's going to have a huge market.

However, if it's another FL/S1 in the cpu department, I'll have NO INTEREST Wink

If it comes out at all. HiHi

I'm thinking that it may be a bit less of a CPU pig here...but Live9 is just not cutting it for me either...

I understand where your coming from. I just think it will be hard to get lots of people to shell out a fair amount of cash on first version, while there are so many things in direct competition with that consumer cash.

I'll jump on board if it works really well. Big fan of live, so it is a natural progression

time will tell

Just found this nice feature request topic for Live 9:
https://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=133970

I wonder if anyone (Bitwig,Ableton) will come up with a major version in 2012 when I see this wishlist -_- Guess the Wig developers are lurking in the forum a lot.

Apologies if it was said earlier in the thread (I gave up after all the pics), but Bitwig tweeted about pushing back the public beta due to them decided to include some of the features planned for 2.0 into the 1.0 version.
