Postby UVBlues; Sat Feb 25, 2012 8:09 am Modulator VST Plugin missing file.

I just dowloaded the Modulator VST plugin. I installed it in Audacity 1.3.14 It shows up in the effects menu but when it loads I get

Can't load SE Plugin: The specified module could not be found.
.File C:\Program Files (x86)\Audacity 1.3 Beta (Unicode)\Plug-Ins\HGSounds\Modulator\Modulator\PatchMemory.sem.

I can X this dialog box a bunch of times and it will ultimately load the Modulator GUI select a preset. But I get no other data in the GUI and nothing works.

Anyone have an idea where I can find this file, or if something else is going on here?

Thanks in advance!

It should be extracted when it is first run, if you are on Vista or W7 and your VSTPlugin directory is inside the Program Files directory you must give it permission for Modulator to write files. Either that or move your plugin folder outside of the Program Files structure and tell Audacity where it is.

Beyond that I can't think why it shouldn't work.
