Just tried it really, really quickly. I'm really impressed so far! I love the saturation in HF mode on the master! The range knob is really useful there too! I haven't tried it as channel comp yet I'll now read the manual (VOS manuals are usually really well written!). Cheers Dennis ---- Back from the dead - Sorry if I didn't answer your mails/PM/whatever during the last few months. I hope everything will be back to normal soon. Not sure what to think of this one - it seems to have little to no effect on my sound. Can't wait to see what future incarnations of stateful saturation will bring about though! Last edited by 75ips on Fri Mar 02, 2012 10:00 am; edited 1 time in total |

Serious shaping capabilities there!
I think this can be arguably the best VoS plugin so far and one of the greatest vst comps ever made. |

Stateful saturation my friend ! Read here : http://varietyofsound.wordpress.com/2010/12/04/towards-state ful-saturation/ By the way it's an opto design. Cool, thanks bro. Another thing to make me wish I could mix on a PC sometimes... Why not install Windows 7 in addition to OSX? Then you could have best of both worlds. Well I'm going to get flamed to a cinder for this but........I'm not impressed at all with this plugin. I'll give it third test tonight but it appears to be destined for deletion. Ah yeah! The Thrillseeker is released!! Awesome! This one is indeed extremely impressive! I've been using it on all kinds of things. It's especially good on acoustic guitar and single drum hits in my opinion. I'm also having a blast overdriving it quite a bit on bass and various synth sounds. It's got quite a character for sure! Love it! Cheers! bManic ---- "He who asks is a fool for five minutes, he who does not ask remains a fool forever" |
