Really I'm not sure if this topic fits here or not?

Question is; if I want to make a youtube video clip of me playing live keyboard covering a famous hit or something; how can I mentain a clear full sound of the music played in the video clip. Do you use sound of the original video of your playing, or do you discard it completely and use an audio export of your host?

well, I think I figured that out my self. they make a montage in which the sound is exprted as audio format then match it using any video editor, then to youtube.
