What could this be? Sounds like something pretty big from the statement put out with this announcement; CEO Ernst Nathorst-Böös "will lift the curtain on some very exciting technology news for music makers everywhere". |

Over on the Props forums an iPad App is the biggest suspect there. But I questioned whether the wording with the announcement warrants this development;
CEO Ernst Nathorst-Böös "will lift the curtain on some very exciting technology news for music makers everywhere" Does that sound like an iPad App?! |

A 500 series USB interface allowing Reason to be connected to analog processors?
Or a new Nord modular. |

Rumor has it that it will NOT be plugin hosting for Reason. However, it's been hinted that the Props have licensed the rights to this plugin to be integrated directly into the software. And really, this would make plugin hosting irrelevant anyways.
