"OTT is a re-creation of a popular aggressive multiband upwards / downwards compressor setting used by many dubstep and electro producers."

Does anyone know which one Xfer is talking about?

Its actually emulating the "OTT" preset for Ableton Live's multiband compressor, which is why the bands/ratios on xfer's OTT aren't modifiable. It's just meant to do that one thing.

There's a lot of good looking freeware there. I can't wait to try the Dimension Expander.
Thanks so much for this.

Xfers freeware stuff belongs to the nicest and most unique stuff out there imo!
I love Delta Modulator and 8Bit Shaper Love
I haven't tried OTT yet but I'll do that asap!

Cheers

Thanks for the nice words, guys!

I've just updated the OTT for Windows with some denormal fixes (big CPU use when the audio input is silent), which only surfaced for me when using NI Maschine or NI Kore as host.

it would be helpful some people if you updated the version numbers on the page more regularly Wink

Great free comp! Reminds me the Rough Rider Pro (which I have) from Audio Damage. Quite similar sonic color. Love the way it pumps the hell out of a beat.
Thanks very much Xfer !

That is one of the best comps i have ever tried, period. The ''free'' part not even taken into account. Made me so happy, today. Steve, i salute you!

Thanx Steve, it sounds excellent and I very much appreciate the lack of more control - it's just perfect and it yields excellent results!
