You guys crack me up hehe There's deffinately certain times when there's a "Right" way, I agree, especially when EQing / Mixing etc ... but during the creative process i've always believed you create the best when you have the most freedom to create, limits only stifle creativity - in my view Chris Payne http://www.youtube.com/user/zoolook3264 |

There's no snobbery. All the DAWs are pretty good, except for FL Studio.
Sorry, I couldn't help it. In all honesty though, FL Studio didn't work for me, but I saw nothing really bad about it. Some really good things, somethings I didn't like. I wish Live would steal it's pattern editor. I think the big issue I had with it was it didn't sync to external clocks when I tried it. Maybe that's been fixed... I actually ended up not needing that feature but it led me to Live and I did find Live to be very intuitive. FL Studio... less so. They say, it's a poor craftsman who blames their tools... well I'll say it's an even worse craftsman who blames someone else's tools. ---- Zerocrossing Media http://www.zerocrossing.net 4th Law of Robotics: When turning evil, display a red indicator light. ~[ ●_● ]~ |

Pffffft! Real snobs don't use DAWs. They use their superior intelligence to pursue more rewarding activities - patrolling KVR threads like this. ---- perception: the stuff reality is made of. |

Anyway you really shouldn't be using FL studio if you want to be a professional like us.
Look at this one: http://pro.magix.com/en/samplitude/buy-samplitude/usa.668.ht ml Its much more expensive! Why, don't you think its for a reason? It has a "100% sound neutral audio engine" Or this one: http://www.steinberg.net/en/shop/buy_product/product/nuendo- 5.html Its even more expensive and has: "unprecedented audio quality" ! Thats why. And look at this: http://www.izcorp.com/hightrack-72192.php 192 Tracks! But if you have to ask how much it is you can't afford it. Thats why your music stinks! ---- Aiynzahev-sounds Resonance Sound Sound Designer - Soundsets for Massive, LuSH, DIVA, DUNE, Sylenth and others Last edited by Aiynzahev on Wed Mar 21, 2012 12:42 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Well that just gives it away there, probably like most people, myself included the last time they used it it was fruity loops. FL Studio is much more advanced than the old Fruity loops. ---- Aiynzahev-sounds Resonance Sound Sound Designer - Soundsets for Massive, LuSH, DIVA, DUNE, Sylenth and others |

When I tell a Reaper user that I don't use Reaper I get the same look. |

Okay, I'll be serious a moment:
Who cares that you use FL studio? That looks 100x more professional than my DAW. But does it really matter that much? Not really, unless it prevents you from creating what you want to create. |
