Hello,
Sure, it's a lame question but... Imagine, my host tempo in Ableton is 80 bpm. It affects all tracks. Can i slow the tempo by 4-x just for certain midi tracks in realtime? (something like only my beat section playing now at 20 bpm, but same time my host tempo still at 80 bpm). I need it simple as if i change my host tempo in realtime in Ableton Any technique for this or maybe some VST that can do it? Or is it totally impossible? Thank you in advance. |

If you render your midi to audio (as a clip) you can use the + and - buttons in the clip info box to slow down or speed up the loop relative to the BPM. |

Just stretch the notes. Select all your notes in drum part. Right click, select stretch, then using pointers stretch one bar to four bars. That would give you 20 BPM tempo for your drums. ---- Wonder whether my advice worth a penny? Check my music at Soundcloud and decide for yourself. re:vibe and Loki Fuego @ Soundcloud |
