Hi all,
I need help with this plug-in (a little complex for me / hoping that I made the right choice ...) I hesitated between Reverberate of LiquidSonics MMulticonvolution and ... but I can not get the same quality / purity of reverberation with MMulticonvolution as easily obtained in Reverberate, and more, this one manages the Quad.wav ... i find many quality IRs (Samplicity), and they are perfect in Reverberate, but they "sound" not well at all in MMulticonvolution ...??? can be / certainly, that these poor results are due to my poor knowledge of this plu-gin ... advance, thank you for your help and advice ---- Take Time before He does so... |

Hi,
you have to be more specific. Convolution plugins usually sound exactly the same (unless you use some more advanced filters). So please describe the "bad" sound you are having. |

Hi, i think it is basic action i don't do well question 1: i have 3 IR to load, -Halls 01 Large Hall M-to-S.wav (do i put this one in middle band?) -Halls 01 Large Hall L.wav -Halls 01 Large Hall R.wav what should I do exactly? question 2: i have 4 IR to load, -s1_r1_o.wav -s1_r2_o.wav -s1_r3_o.wav -s1_r4_o.wav what should I do exactly? do i have to always create bands before/and load each IR inside ? forgive my poor english hervé ---- Take Time before He does so... |

The plugin loads all subsequential IRs automatically, but they must be well named and your IRs definitely not well named.
So.. 1) Here I don't even know what you want to do with the IRs as they don't really seem compatible, maybe it's some kind of true-stereo approach, but I just don't get it really. 2) Here it's even worse, what are those 4 channels for? This is an excerpt from the documentation: File selector lets you choose particular impulse response. In most hosts you can also drag & drop a file into it from your file explorer. If the file contains multiple channels, they will be used according to current topology. Additionally the plugin tries to find additional channels from similarly named files in the same directory according to this scheme: xxx1.yyy - tries to load xxx2.yyy, xxx3.yyy... xxxL.yyy - tries to load xxxR.yyy xxx.1.1.yyy - tries to load xxx.1.2.yyy, xxx.2.1.yyy, xxx.2.2.yyy This is useful when you have several monophonic samples and you want to combine them into a single filter. For example you may have churchL.wav and churchR.wav containing recordings of 2 impulse response from a church used for left and right channel. Moreover the plugin provides true-stereo processing mode, in which first 2 IRs are used for left output and next 2 IRs for right output. In this case you may have for example 2 stereo samples church1.wav and church2.wav, where first is used to produce left output and the second for the right output. Finally the plugin provides surround processing with up to 8 channels and since it is very unpractical to have 8 channel wave files, it's likely you will want them to be combined from multiple mono or stereo samples such as church1.wav, church2.wav, church3.wav etc. |
