I don't know how much use I would get out of camelspace, it looks incredible though, so just wondering what is out there that is similar for less or free. |

Personally, I think CamelSpace IS super cheap at $85 considering how versatile it is. Audio Damage BigSeq2 covers some of CamelSpace's territory, but it's still $49. |

Yeah I agree it is a good price, just I need to check, I'm not exactly well-informed regarding effects like this. Plus no $ doesn't help, maybe in the future I can get camelspace but not at this time, so something that does something similar would be nice to have in the meantime. |

There was a deal around Xmas where CamelSpace and CamelPhat were like $40/each |

You could chain together a bunch of freeware. Like the bootsie chorus/echo, tal reverb, tal flanger, and a noise gate. Not sure if you would be able to modulate everything like you can in Camelspace though, you would have to rely on your hosts automation, like using track envelopes. ---- Has anybody ever really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like? |

the only thing remotely like the functionality of CSpace is Adrenalinn Sync and it's still $100
I get that CSpace is a lot of money for you, braj save-up your sheckels & take the plunge on the Camel - it's totally worth the cost of admission ---- an expert on what it feels like to be me & you are who you google http://soundcloud.com/mrnatural-1 |

Depending on what sounds you're after maybe my (sorry for self advertising) Reflex Pro could do the job.
It can partially do the same gating effects as Camel Space though it has a different approach and is not specially designed for that purpose at first hand. It's on sale rigth now. Just give teh demo a try. http://www.stw-audio.com/products/reflex-pro-v2/ |

CamelPhat and CamelSpace are both excellent plugins.
BigSeq2 is also amazing, but not as quick to set up as CamelSpace (BigSeq2 takes a bit more time to tweak). You can also try Truc2, which is a multi-FX (with delay, filter, granulizer and ring/autopan) and 2 XY pads for quick & easy modulation :

I was in a similar boat a while back and tried various things. In the end I just bought CamelSpace and haven't looked back since! I'd hang on for another sale (which was when I bought mine). |

So far I'm not seeing anything with the step sequencers like Camelspace (a big part of what I want), I guess I'll wait for a sale, thanks everyone. Last edited by braj on Mon Apr 02, 2012 10:29 am; edited 1 time in total |

Yeah, I'm actually getting a lot of what I was looking for except the step sequencer bits from my trusty PodFarm plug, sometimes I forget how many decent effects it has and that it works on any tracks, not just guitars. I'll wait for a sale, hopefully I have the cash when the time comes. |
