Mine does this also. 32bit Cubase 4.5 on PC.
It's been doing it for so long I've just gotten used to it. No amount of reinstalling has fixed it. TBH I'm so in love with Albino3 I dont care ---- "I was wondering if you'd like to try Magic Mushrooms" "Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary" "It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t" SoundCloud |

A workaround would be to delete all Albino3SysGlo entry from the registry. We'll update the installer soon so a reinstall will do this too; for now only manually works, i'm sorry. The problem is when using 32 and 64 bit versions on the same machine (or when you used to use 32 bit and now are on 64 or vice versa), its the mapping Windows tries to make to get 32 and 64 going on the same machine. |

Before I try it, what does deleting Albino3SysGlo do? My workaround was simply putting the Albino3banks folder in both locations (it was looking in the 64bit installation).
Seems to me the proper fix would be to put the banks in the Win7 roaming folder and have both versions look there. BTW - is there an upper limit to the numer of folders you can put in the Albino3Banks Folder? It appears that it won't see past 128 |

It cleans up some information about installation that might not be in line with your current setup; fortunately this is usually no problem, but we'll add to to upcoming installers to do this automatically so the remaining issues are not coming up again (well, on top they fade out anyway as its a transition issues when people upgrade 32 to 64 bit) |

Thanks Peter - Once "cleaned up" where does Albino then look for it's presets?
Also - any info on the Albino3Banks folder limit? |

depends on your machine, next to himself on PC, the default location on Mac; both is achieved by a install, so its the right one as long as you not play hide 'n seek with Albino by moving the presets manually Folder limit is 128 on PC 208 on Mac (and will be on next PC update); as there are reasons agains a PC update currently and demand in this respect is quite low (sorry) it wont come too soon. |

"and will be on the next PC update"......And will be WHAT? Do you mean with the next PC update it will stay at 128, or go to 208, or something else?
At any rate, I guess it's time to start combining presets, which sparks the question - Is there a limit to presets within a folder? |

Sure, 128 as well. The limit of 128 was choosen as it was the Bank and Program range of classical MIDI and good for 16.000 presets which seemed bejond any reasonable amount. But I see one can get over 128 banks and 208 is limit on Mac currently and will be of the next PC update, sorry for being unclear. |
