I just made a skin for the amazing free MVerb.

Before:

After:

Before I post the download link: Is it a problem if some of the source graphics are from possibly copyrighted images? If so, I can't offer the file for download...

How to install:
On Mac, right-click the "MVerb.vst" or "Mverb.component" file and click "Show Package Contents". Move to "Contents" -> "Resources". Replace the files "bmp00127.png" and "bmp00128.png" with the ones from the ZIP file you downloaded.
On Windows, you can use Resource Hacker to replace the graphics.

I'm pretty sure it is.

Hello declassified,

That is an awesome skin, well done!

If you want to use the graphics with the Windows version then you can either use a resource hacker to swap the graphics over or recompile the C++ code. Provided all the images are the same sizes you wouldn't need to do any coding, just a recompile.

You say the images may be copyrighted, can you elaborate on that? If they are copyrighted then unfortunately you would not be able to distribute them without the owners permission.

I used a photo of a hardware/rack reverb unit for this skin. When I started, I didn't think about distributing it, so I didn't mind. I'm not a graphics guy, so I can't really create knobs etc from scratch.
If the copyright allows it, I'll be very happy to share the skin Smile But I'm not sure if that's the case..

The old one looks better (to me), but yours is more ergonomic...so I take yours!
Many Thanx for that.

BTW, it would be even more ergonomic, if on the knobs wouldn't be a black point, but a black line!

@declassified

I'm not sure, but isn't it that way, that only, when somebody is claiming this GUI as his, you have to stop to distrubute it, but till then you can?

If the logo of Mverb on your GUI is also on the original hardware, I would change this !!

It's pretty much this simple, so I'm going to lock this.

Not so fast, Miltz.

It was brought to my attention that I was probably too quick to lock this. My apologies.

I'm still not sure about posting a download link, but I've PM'd declassified to see about figuring that out (with someone better qualified to judge).

In the meantime, here's the thread unlocked.

Edit: I guess the thread can stay unlocked, but for copyright reasons there will be no download link.

Copyright issues aside, I much prefer the original GUI simply because of the way the knobs are grouped by colour.

is there a way to give the gui an entirely different shape or do the buttons all have to stay in the same place?

I like this much better, but I agree, it would be nice if the knobs were colour coded to indicate their 'grouping'.
