I'm glad to report that a clean reinstall (I uninstalled first this time) fixed the midi learn problem I was having.

Hi PAK,

You don't happen to have a full screenshot that you could send to urs@u-he.com?

Hi Urs,

Unfortunately I didn't keep it. Hopefully I have something better though.. Smile

I replicated the problem a second time since my original post and noticed a more definite pattern. The Diva engine does now seem to survive after being left a long time. It's when you start to switch presets after being left a long time (say 12-24 hrs) that the problem shows up, and usually quite quickly. IE when I played through the bass presets it only took until "HS Cable Bass" for the engine to cut out this second time.

This second time I did noticed something which might prove helpful? When the engine cut out on "HS Cable Bass" it killed only the Rotary 1 & 2 FX along with Stack. Setting stack off or using any other FX (other than rotary 1 or 2) allowed normal operation. I then continued to browse through to "HS Chord Bass - major" (which uses stack along with Plate1 and Delay2 in FX). Now all FX except rotary 1 & 2 and Plate 1 & Delay 2 worked. Selecting these FX or enabling stack would mute the engine output.

So a common factor is definitely when you switch to presets using stack. When that happens a stack of 2 or more kills the FX in use on those particular slots, and those FX will then not respond again without restarting Diva. This only seems to happen after Diva's been left idle for a relatively long period and the new multi-processor mode was not enabled when any of this happened.

Hi PAK,

reasoning about the weird nature of your bug gave rise to an amazingly simple answer. We have something that counts the time but that is an integer number that only goes to 2147483647. After that it became negative, which somehow was a bug.

Consider this fixed in the next version! Smile
