First of all thanks for the freebie I think your plugin isn't a bad compressor but to my ears doesn't sound like the compressor that it is meant to resemble...especially the release and auto release are "wrong", in the sense that, to my ears, the release curve of the original is a lot different; the original has a release curve that starts faster than yours so your compressor causes greater pumping than the original; also the attack curve seems to be different, with your compressor having faster action. Then there is the freq response: SSL G384 tends to cut away a little of hi-freq, yours is flat.
