Hey Rob and Jon,

Just out of curiosity, have you heard of this?:

http://www.propellerheads.se/news/rackextensions/index.cfm

Developers can get the SDK from propellerheads and convert their software into Reason Rack Extensions and offer their software to Reason users.

I have the Reason software myself and would _LOVE_ to be able to use your synths in the Reason environment! I suppose other Reason users out there would jump at the chance as well. What do you think?

This is great news! The thought of 2 or 3 predators inside a combinator is making me drool!

Also, I really hope you consider porting Blue for RE in the future as imho Reason is currently lacking in good FM synths.

Kind regards,

Would Blade eventually follow? I may end up getting Reason 6.5 so i'm waiting to see what plugin are ported and which developers are getting on board. Thanks!

Will there be any crossgrades? Will RE be treated like any other format so that when you buy the plugin you get it for pc/mac VST AU etc?

Hi,

We first need to build the products of course. It takes less time if you have an audio compressor with only a few knobs....or Predator with 'tons' of features.

Sure Blade, would be cool as well. But first we start with Predator Smile

About crossgrades and so on. Most likely we offer this as well. But too early to make statements about this.

WOOHOOO! This is great news! Using Predator inside a Combinator will definitely produce some MONSTER results haha Smile.

I second eXode's suggestion, BTW...Reason currently lacks a good FM synth and Blue would fill that void perfectly.

Hi,

All going well Smile

Predator has 27 filter types, so ...fun for sure if you use the filter input as well Very Happy

The vocoder also will be added (if all goes well)....and of course the rest of the fx..............

Cheers,
Rob

Awesome.

About the GUI. Someone said that you posted on facebook (I don't have facebook so I can't check) that you might put a portion of the GUI on the back (free env's and lfo's).

A suggestion is that you put it on the front, but with a folding section? free env's and lfo's and mod matrix could then be hidden in this section (see Thor in Reason to understand what I mean). This way you can have another level of the synth and you don't have to put those things on the back.

Finally, have you considered putting some CV outputs on predator? It would be cool to have the envelopes, lfo's but most of all the arpeggiator with CV out, that way you could control another synth in Reason with the arpeggiator from Predator.

Ah well, for your consideration anyways... ;)

Cheers!

Hi,

Well, we found a solution. So the 'free envelopes' 'free lfos' '8x mod matrix' and the 'fx gator menu' will be at the front panel.

At the back panel we have the 'input' to the Predator filter / fx.

The idea of 'cv' and 'gate' out, that is interesting.
We did not look into that, but for the arpeggiator this could make sense for sure. With Jon Ayres I need discuss this, since this is new.

Thanks for your feedback Smile
