I'm trying to work with a simple super saw preset in z3ta and I cant for the life of me figure out out how to keep it at a steady key. It slowly wavers up and down and up and down. Any help would be appreciated.

I have Z3TA+2, but I'm going to assume it's a similar procedure for Z3TA+. Also, since it's your first post, I'm going to answer in a very step by step way:

Method 1 (Quick fix):

Check under the "modulation matrix", you should see 1 row with entries (under "Source" is "LFO1", under "Destination" is "All Filters Cutoff". Move the "Range" all the way to the left. (Moving it to the right will make the wavering effect stronger)

Method 2 (More "proper" imho):

1) Check under the "modulation matrix", you should see 1 row with entries (under "Source" is "LFO1", under "Destination" is "All Filters Cutoff". Change the "LFO1" to off/blank.

The sound should have become muddy (i.e. strong lowpass filter)

2) Increase/pull up the "cutoff" under "filter". You should notice that in one ear the sound gets clearer. Get it to a level that you like.

3) Do the same with the second filter, and it should even out the sound in the other ear.

If you mean Z3ta+ (I don't know if Z3ta+ v2 is different in this regard), it is the nature of the beast. Unfortunately you can't pan each individual oscillator (as far as I know) which is the problem. As a result the various detuned saws are going in and out of phase(?) with each other causing the wavering you are hearing.

As a simple example set up two detuned saws. Send one through one bus (to one filter) and send the other through the other bus (2nd filter). You should hear the wavering sound. Now pan one filter to the left and the other to the right. The wavering should be eliminated. That's about as good as you can do in Z3ta+ v1 I think.

Try moving the Phase knob on all the oscillators to various positions. For a supersaw, you'd have osc 1 Phase at zero, osc 2's Phase would be nudged up a bit, osc 3's Phase up more to 1/4, so on. Also check and make sure about your Chorus settings. Too much on any one knob can get you that wavering effect.
