Shot in the dark to see if anyone can help ...
Kontakt 4 suddenly stopped working for me. When I go into it, it just hangs and does nothing until I close it down. I had recently installed the circle and EZ Keys and uninstalled both, still the same result. I totally un installed Kontakt 4 and reinstalled with the same result. I'm running on Windows 7 64 bit, but use the 32 bit version in live. Everything else seems to be fine. I contacted NI customer support last Tuesday and have yet to get a response |

If uninstall and re install doesn't work you may have to clean out your registry or reformat in order to get kontakt working again happened to me before. ---- The sleeper must awaken. |

I noticed you are running windows 64 bit and bridging with 32 bit live. Have you tried a 64 bit app like Reaper this might help. I currently am running 32 bit windows 7 sp1 with kontakt 5 no issues after installing libraries. Too bad the link didn't help much I will see if I can find anything else that may help. ---- The sleeper must awaken. |

I don't think it's the daw, as it did previously work. i think you were right with the registry just dont know what the issue is, quite frustrating really and after a week no response from NI.
I find trhe standalone situation totally bizarre. Looks like a may have to flattern my system which will be a nightmare |

@budd1405:
Please consider downloading & installing Revo Uninstaller (Free Version). Use it to UNINSTALL Kontakt. If it is a registry issue, then chances are Revo will locate and provide opportunity to manually delete registry left-overs. I work professionally as a computer/network technician. I've had great trouble-shooting success using this little PC utility. http://www.revouninstaller.com/start_freeware_download.html budd1405 wrote: I don't think it's the daw, as it did previously work. i think you were right with the registry just dont know what the issue is, quite frustrating really and after a week no response from NI.
