why these comparisons are always with slow modulated sweeps and pads and never with snappy or punchy sounds. that's how vst developers have been getting away with comparisons since 12 year to not unearth filter feedback lag.
compare a ressy bass, a filter zap, a self osc kick drum and 1/32 modulation...
then it may be a worthy comparison.
Not a comparison, but a proof that OP-X PRO-II can be quite snappy if you need it:

Listen: Drums Bank Demo

This is only OP-X PRO-II, drums bank presets, no external effects or any other processing included. No OB-X could do this, I guess not even XPander... Wink

I had a question: in Studio One OP-X shows up as an input device for other plugins, but it doesn't seem to send any midi. Is it possibly to record midi from OP-X, specifically I'd like to output the arp patterns to another synth and record them in the piano roll.

This isn't possible currently (but it could be added in an update). The MIDI output is mainly used to send controller data and parameter dumps for MIDI feedback setups using endless rotary controllers, so that the knobs and buttons on the controller are hard-synced to the GUI controls of OP-X PRO-II (so that they update to the settings of the new patch on patch changes or when a parameter is tweaked on the GUI).

Cool, thanks for clarifying. It would be cool to have but not exactly a high priority Smile
