I believe I have it in my folder already. Surprisingly (for me) it works too. Count me in |

Yep,
it works also in FL Studio with a little bug: the waves will show like atari 2600 in the second, third ... instance And a little bit experimental: no manual ... so anybody got an idea of the first graphic env ---- Kraftraum ------------------------------ Take it or break it! ------------------------------ |

Bzur,
Happens to me in FL. I can generally get a single instance going, but any more than that causes FL to go nuts and crash. ---- nox ad umbras lucem misit. |

FL users have a look at these:
http://www.image-line.com/support/FLHelp/html/app_plugin.htm http://support.image-line.com/knowledgebase/base.php?id=54&a ns=145 @kraftraum: What you mean "show like atari 2600"? @Bzur, that's a major issue, what's your system? Does it work in other hosts? But to be honest too many plugin issues was part of the reason I finally gave up Cubase which is ironic as one of the reasons I decided to go for that DAW after early Cakewalk days was that since Steinberb IS VST, it would be the most solid.. |

Yes interesting without manual, here's what the developer said: antti wrote: Find Prophet VS user manual from the web. Augur does not and will never have a PDF manual. You get what you pay for.
Here's the Prophet VS manual: http://soundprogramming.net/synthesizers/sequential_circuits /sequential_circuits_prophet_vs And here are some KVR threads: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=99041 http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=99696 Last edited by V'ger on Tue May 01, 2012 3:22 pm; edited 1 time in total |

V'ger,
It is pretty random when it wants to work and when it does not want to work. Even with a single instance. I suppose I could try Reaper but I do not like sequencing in it at all. However, I do like it for mixing purposes. I'll keep at trying to get it to work, but I don't think it is gonna happen. ---- nox ad umbras lucem misit. |

Does Augur work well in REAPER on your system?
Some good banks for Augur: http://ann.sounds.free.fr/ http://fingermarks.co.uk/Music/augur_prophecy_1.zip |

Yeah it works in Reaper. I guess I'll have to use it for sequencing this time around. Such a shame because while Reaper is a great DAW, I hate it for this kind of stuff. ---- nox ad umbras lucem misit. |

Try to set the mouse modifiers to your preference, it might help the transition. (single click-drag to enter notes, single-click to delete etc) There's also an action called 'Zoom to content' in MIDI editor which I find very useful, might want to set up a shortcut for that. Here's a video showing the basics in MIDI. |

I could faithfully reproduce Augur crashing on Ubuntu Studio. As usual I am using Reaper via Wine (a kind of windows emulation) and it normally works with almost all plugins. If I open the wave menu and klick on some other waveform it only swallows my choice the first time. The second time it crashes Reaper instantly. If I then don't kill and restart the sytem, a new instance of Reaper gets crashed even the first time I touch that menu - reproducably as I said. Rena is on holidays so I don't know how Reaper works on Win7. I fear that I might be forced to cut out this month. Ruedi |
