Hi Everyone!

I tried to finish a track in exactly 1 hour including sound design, mixing etc.....this is the result.

You can tell that the track is quite empty in some places...I wanted to add another synth but I ran out of time!

I hope some of you enjoy it nontheless!

No samples or presets were used in this track (As always).

Was the new LV-426 Valhalla Room mode used?

Love that "DaVinci Code" stuff happening towards the end - wasn't expecting it but it fit.

I tried to finish a track in a day and am taking a week. This is no good hobby for a neurotic perfectionist. Especially us "I don't do preset" types...

At any rate, it's very cool to set boundaries like that. 1 hour is awesome.

Yep!Yeah, I know that feeling
But this time I really wanted to stop after an hour, no matter if the track is ready or not! I'll meet you at skill transfer station 7B-X3 That 8bit-ish sound helped a lot! I never would have finished the track so "fast" without it! The melody never repeats by the way! Very inspiring sound somehow (at least for me). It practically wrote itself

This is great. Perception shift is an apt name for this. Love how it moves from pure rawness toward something more spacious and epic. Working at this speed obviously suits you. I hate to be all geeky and single out a particular sound for praise, but that kick drum in this is deliciously fat. Great work!

After the 3 minute mark this becomes totally awesome!

Great work. I love the character and the evolution of the sounds through this track. I'll have another listen to this again tomorrow....loud.





My current remix has taken me 5 hours so far, and I think the track is now worse than when I started

1 hour? that's a lot you did there + it's cool!

I challenge you to work another hour but have the same energy like you're building something new! ...this is where it gets tricky for everyone!

Try the best spontaneous thus new workflow you can think of + feel free to do things differently (in cases even opposed to what you're usually doing) just try it! (you can always back off a bit afterwards.. just like with the reverb wet signal )

You may be amazed on what you can do .. I think it's already there, you just have to find a way to let it out!
