Ambient noise, some piano and a few beats in a fairly free-form style. Some sounds are rather harsh, so... you've been warned. Wink

That was seriously outstanding. Saved to my 'best of kvr' folder.
Really enjoyed that.
Nothing like the sound of a Fender jazz bass through a wah pedal....or is there? Rolling Eyes

you have a gift for riding the edge of cohesion, friend.
it's easy to slip into easy convention or disjointed chaos, but the polyslax hold it all in.

Man, I envy your ability to send it home from left field. Felt like listening to a jazz trio warmup in a robot bar.Wheeeeeee

Great work, Matt. Lovely contrasts between the crunchy, pulsing bits and the timeouts for mellow, contemplative ambience.

A fine track Smile

Very cool. I especially like 3:20-4:20 (give or take some seconds), but it all works well. Thanks, polyslax.

This is very enjoyable. I like these free-form tracks. Perfect balance of contrasting elements.

Cheers

Hey thanks vurt - seems we were writing at the same time.

Everything aside from the obvious piano, drums, bass comes out of NI's Skanner XT. I was feeding it my own samples fairly randomly so I can't say what exactly it was, but it will definitely grind that kind of sound out fairly easily I believe.
