My computer is sending clicking noises through the audio output (3.5 mm jack) and at first i just though it was my m-audio micro USB but then i hooked up my speakers to the regualer output and it started making it again. I noticed that when i started opening files rapidly it starts click more and when i play games it goes crazy. Plz help me |

One common source for these problems are WLAN adapters.
There are utilities to measure what is going on in your machine. Google for "DPC check" or similar. You can then isolate and turn of certain activities. |

you might have a ground loop..
if the sound is really your computer thinking and not audio malfunctioning - like can you hear when you scroll sometimes while browsing? then it is this thing where your speakers and your pc share the same grounding and an extra circuit of electricity is making the loop carrying noises from every component in your PC.. you can interrupt it with either a GLI Ground Loop Isolator - about $10 - or you can get the HumX which goes on your speaker's wall plug - about $50.. |

Check your hard drive. That's what my backup drive did before it died. But it was very audible coming from the case. I'd open it up if it;s a PC and see if it's coming from the hard drive. If it is, you better get busy backing stuff up.... |
