i know it might not be the correct section to post this, but i have no idea where to post this if not here..
Check out this set by Martin Solveig. (it's a pretty good set so you might aswell listen to all of it) http://www4.zippyshare.com/v/66359024/file.html at 12:00 He engages the most beast effect i have heard. It's like a filter sweep, with an LFO Idk, it's sick. Any idea where he gets it from, or how? Any ideas how to re-create it on traktor? PS: Martin Solveig is one of the best Dj's Live you'll ever hear. /End Discussion. |

I'm pretty sure he's not doing that. It's just one of the tracks he's mixing has a simple low pass filter on the synth where the cutoff is being modulated manually. |

Could be a sample or snippet of a track.
On the other hand, try the LFO filter in traktor, full wet, change the speed with a knob. ---- I run a netlabel http://oligopolistrecords.bandcamp.com Free chill, hip-hop, lo-fi, ambient, experimental, for you! (Send me demos too!) |
