Actually, the request for people who don't like Diva may not have worked in our company forum at all |

braj wrote: Lots of Dune posts too, HG Fortune posts here regularly. Really, LeVzi, you seem to have a problem with U-he independent of anything happening in the Instruments forum. If you don't like a topic, don't read it, simple as that. Stalking through the threads and complaining doesn't seem very healthy to me
Nah not at all, I used to own u-he products, no problem with them at all. It's the attitude of the minions and urs I find irritating. You seem to forget, that the Saurus thread ended up in a big advert for DIVA thanks to the relentless banging on about it from the same usual suspects, you included. Not the first time i've seen it here at KVR either tbh, when anyone brings something out, it normally gets compared against a u-he product, seeing they are "apparantly" the yardstick. I am in total favour of an even playing field, for all developers, so that everyone gets a voice, everyone gets a chance to promote their own products, but I cannot see how the smaller developer can get their voice heard among the non stop chatter of 1 company and it's followers. As I said yesterday, when there were already 2 busy threads regarding DIVA a third pops up to talk about something that hasn't even been started yet, DIVA the Sequel. But I guess hey, spam is cool in your world. ---- Forward ever, Backward never |

One is advertising his sound set, the other is asking for help. Hardly the same thing is it. Neither is - us advertising for a review - someone asking for people who don't like Diva - someone asking for Diva features Different things, no? Agreed though, the feature request and and the cry for help may have worked well in the company subforum. If they were better off in the subforums then so would have been the Review advertising and the feature request. ---- Forward ever, Backward never |

I was on-topic about Saurus and MY OWN irritation with Tone2's marketing and attitude towards their 'competition' including U-he, as well as my valid critiques of Saurus, I didn't ever go on about Diva, and I'm not one of the 'minions', that you even say that shows your unhealthy bias, perhaps you are acting as a 'minion' of some developer yourself? You are basically stalking U-he and rarely post about anything else from what I see. |

I used to be annoyed by the plenty amount of post about diva, but i've come to accept the fact that people love it because they enjoy it. Nowadays i like to read this kind of thread just for fun, cause i know it will always ends up heated. ---- GAS |

Well, I find it very irritating that you as an affiliate of a competitor keep popping up in all Diva threads recently. You say you have nothing against me, but then, didn't you just resell all your u-he products right when you took offense to my appearance in the Saurus thread? See, in my eyes your just as partisan as it gets. But I don't really care. You can keep raving on if you like. |

The new version of DIVA will have an arp/gate that you can draw notes on. It will only consume 20% CPU on most patches, and as a special intro offer, it will be on sale for $99.00 for one week only. (The week I have an xtra $99)

See, in my eyes your just as partisan as it gets. But I don't really care. You can keep raving on if you like. I sold my u-he products as I had absolutely zero use for them, if you think I sold them out of spite, then you are sadly mistaken, the fact that the Saurus thread ended up the way it did just reminded me that I don't need synths I don't use anymore, and I knew i'd sell them here. So I did. Spent the money on more useful items. I'm sure you can appreciate that. I'm not going to slight them, i'm not that petty. But yes to the others, I will rest my case now, I have no interest in dragging this out any further than has already been done. 100+ pages once before was enough. Oh one last thing Urs, I maybe an affiliate of a competitor of yours, but I won't go around ramming their products down people's throats every chance I get. I let quality speak for itself. ---- Forward ever, Backward never |

I let quality speak for itself. Urs isn't ramming anything down anyone's throat... He has an enthusiastic bunch of users who get so excited using his musical instruments, that they can helped but pass that enthusiasm on... It's like spreading the gospel...The Soft Synth Good News for all mankind... Of course,we commiserate with those other developers who are swamped by the wake.. But it's a even playing field and they just have to lift their game The quality in the u-he products DOES speak for itself and this is patently obvious if you tap into any of these threads...We're happy campers here... Of course - speaking of quality - DIVA has just raised the bar substantially and it's obviously struck a chord with users and with a few developers who are scrambing around trying to find a meaningful answer of their own.. It's always good to have a balanced response to any given situation Last edited by digitalboytn on Mon May 07, 2012 5:42 am; edited 1 time in total |
