I recently picked up Shreddage 2 and aside from one problem I've been having, I'm loving the hell out of it.
The problem is that for some reason I can't seem to get Shreddage to recognize the velocity for more aggressive sustained notes. No matter how high I put the velocity, I can't seem to get more than one layer of sustain for single-note parts (aside from staccatos which work fine). I've checked the articulations page but since I'm on default settings, so I doubt I should be having this problem.

Other than that that, Shreddage 2 never ceases to amaze me. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks for the kind words! There isn't an enormous difference between regular sustains and 'hard' sustains, so it's possible you ARE triggering them but not realizing it. Try turning off any amp/fx you have. With the default patch, you should be getting hard sustains at around ~98-100 velocity and up. It's more apparent on the higher notes.

This is what I thought was happening at first but I noticed that sometimes when I load up Shreddage 2 in Kontakt 5, I'l get the more intense sustained notes by default. As well, I've been noticing a few user demos in which they've managed to get these really aggressively picked single notes, especially on some of the slightly higher up bits of rhythm guitar. Strangely enough, my copy of Shreddage X doesn't seem to be having the same problem.

[EDIT]: Wait, never mind, PROBLEM SOLVED! Pretty much all I had to do was get Shreddage 2 to play the notes on the 7th string. I'm really sorry if I caused any confusion due to my lack of knowledge about guitars. Keep up the awesome work!
