If i have a single voice sawtooth oscillator, every time i press a note, the sound is the same.
However, if i switch the OSC to dual, with zero detune and zero width, the sound is different with each note. As if the waveforms are no longer synced, but are running free. I appreciate that this might be an "analog" modelled characteristic but is it not also possible to have these dual oscillators synced? I notice the same thing happens if i have two (identical) single OSCs loaded. You get this phasing sound that changes with each note strike. However!.....i notice if i select "Duophonic", none of this happens! But in the maual, "Duophonic" seems to describe something else! Thanks! |

Do you have "Voice Drift" set to off? It's located on the lower left of the Global pane. |
