In my blissfull ignorance I thought they were then saw a video demo of the korg microkeys where it was racked next to an akai lkp25, korgs keys looked significantly bigger.

Nah. And tech specs don't say how big they actually are.
I like the idea of small keys but found the Akai just a little awkward to play, wondering if something just a little bigger would make a difference. ---- ()_() (O.o) (")(") |

Even full size keyboards have different standards for size of keys.
In short, key sizes vary depending on manufacturer and design. I'd recommend going to a store to try some or order what you gancy online and if the keys are too small return it. When buying online you have 7 days to return somethiong if you change your mind or are not satisfied. |

You're right, i'm being lazy, just a bit of hike to the nearest store that stocks any kind of selection (couple of hour drive).
