they even recently changed to sterling so it's not 139 euros anymore its 139 POUNDS *sob* which is over $200 for me any ideas? EDIT... i just went ahead and bought it, being in oz there was no vat which put it under $200 which made it just swallowable ---- Please call me Theo. i have searched every link i guess no one has it:(
all the other gforce instruments bar this one are available at dealers. Question, does anyone remember gforce ever doing a sale? ever? if so i will wait. I have this project and i have used an arp from imposcar and with all the synths i have i still can't replace it. They sell in the marketplace for too high $$$ for something that becomes NFR so... I mean there was one for $125 i would have taken it without a second thought but that went immediately. I'd like to support the company cause they are cool and stricken by piracy. Bu tit's alot of money, in fact i don't think i ever spent that much on a synth (besides nexus) I have ALWAYS loved imposcar, but the chance is after i buy it and complete this track, if gforce don't get off their ass by say 2012 end and release a 64 bit version ( i mean that part is getting truly ridiculous and NOT cool of them), then i'd want to sell it cause i HATE logic's bridge. so.. ---- Please call me Theo. |

They had a big sale on the 1st impOSCar for a real short while, I think it was only around $60-70 (can't remember exact price, sorry) I have that version, but I got it through a trade of another synth I used to have, and not from that sale. I was wondering how much it is to upgrade to imp2, and if it is even possible since I have imp1 2nd hand from that trade. Other that one time, I never saw any of their other stuff on a sale, like Minimonsta especially...someday I will pick it up. |

I can sell you my imposcar1 license, as I only use 2 now.
PM me an amount you want for it and I'll look into any transfer fee as well. Gotta go out for a few hours now though...when I get back. |

I have impOSCar1, but I am not sure you can sell v1 if you upgraded it to v2. Sorta like if you get OP-X Pro , then upgrade to Pro II...if you sell one or the other, I think the license is the same for both as it's carried over from the 1st one. (not sure if I worded that right Maybe I am wrong. |

mcoone if you used your imposcar one to upgrade then i will be stuck at imposcar one.
There is no transfer fee and they become NFR. The upgrade fee to imposcar 2 is 60 pound. Lastly and probably the most importantly, i have bought it direct for 116 pound(ex vat being in oz) and edited the thread title hours ago to reflect that. ---- Please call me Theo. |

Ouch, $94 just for an upgrade, I think I'll put that towards something else. |

Don't want to hijack the thread, so perhaps pm me if you have a solution.
I installed the demo from Computer Music magazine #175, and after taking a look at it in FLStudio and closing Fl Studio, I noticed things slowing up on my computer. impOSCar2_PC.exe just kept running at 50% in task manager. Got that sorted but how to uninstall demo ? Manual doesn't mention uninstall. No uninstaller, not on Add or Remove and I don't wish to register at gforce just to ask how to uninstall. Any ideas ? ---- Dripfeed |

Did you look in the control panels software manager, and it's not showing there? If that's the case, then you should run a search, for any named gforce and imposcar, and throw it out. They also add some other companies file in there somewhere. It's Ohmforce or something. Search and destroy. |

I doubt ttoz will mind as I'm sure that he's now pretty much done with this thread. Either 1) go into regedit and delete the entries for Imposcar2 from there or 2) restart in safe mode and once you're back in the main windows screen, go through your files/folders and delete from there. |

Thanks for the quick response messrs. mcnoone and Doug1978(perm).
There's only one folder to delete and the two dlls, it probably is that easy. They obviously don't expect anyone to uninstall it, lol. Cheers. ---- Dripfeed |
