Hi guys,
First the question: What are the best Piano VSTi that use a built-in Sampled library? That is, I'm explicitly asking for a Piano VSTi where the DLL actually contains the samples, or that the DLL loads it's own library files from its DLL folder without user intervention? (*note, see end) --- The reason I need one: Got a V machine for live gigging but can't get SFZ player to load my own custom samples on it. Also the provided Amber Lite library is buggy and occasionally glitches causing all depressed notes to sound as full velocity. This is NOT a good sound for jazz/cocktail piano. Another issue is the CPU on the V machine is not as powerful as I'd like which means it has difficulty playing the really good modelled pianos (Piano One, etc.) So a sample-based piano VSTi that loads its own samples looks like the best option. Ideas? *= without user intervention because the interface of the V machine is a little limited. You need to set up most of the settings on the PC before loading to the module. Thanks for all suggestions Commercial, and free! |
