The first 64-bit version of Poise is now available from the members page. This is an alpha version and has known bugs. Please do not use it in important projects. It is for testing purposes only. If you do download it, please let me know if it works, or doesn't work in your host.

Another Poise x64 update is now available. (Version 1.1.30)
- Fixed upside down text in the browser. - Changed the VST ID's so they are unique to the 64 bit builds. (May have been causing problems for some hosts with both the 64 bit and 32 bit versions installed.) |

@ Very Angry Mobster: I'm really excited for this, and want to thank you for all of your hard work! I don't have time right now to 'alpha' test the plugin, but I check this thread to see how things are coming along. --Sean ---- C/R, dongles & other intrusive copy protection equals less-control & more-hassle for consumers. @audiojunkie: Thanks for keeping an eye on the thread Audiojunkie. There are a couple of people testing the alpha so hopefully it will not be before too long that it's ready for wider usage.
@rodan: Thanks for checking out the Alpha version again. |

New 32 & 64 bit BETA versions of Poise have been uploaded.
Quote: Poise Version 1.1.31
- Large samples would cause the GUI to become less responsive due to the sample drawing process. Sample drawing has been streamlined and the GUI should be more responsive with large samples. - The pad rename edit box has been replaced with a dialog. The edit box didn't work in Mix Craft 6. - Several other small changes and bug fixes. - The 32 bit version incorporates some changes made while porting Poise to 64 bit. I'm hopeful that the major 64 bit bugs have been found. Please let me know if you have any compatibility problems or crashes with these latest beta versions. |

Thanks for the update. Is there any chance to get a Bandpass filter availble in the effects section and the ability to export samples as 24bit/48khz files ? Thank you Hey Sink, I'm reluctant to add any new non-essential features at the moment. I'm working on a few different things and am spread a bit thinly at the moment. Shannon |

Hello there,
first of all, congrats for the 64 bits move. But a question: I already wrote somewhere that to me, an "essential" feature would be, for my workflow, an "undo"! At least a 1 level undo. In 2012, most of the apps I am used to have unlimited undo, but a simple, 1 level undo would be a dream for Poise. This would avoid for instance to want to throw you PC thru the window after a bad keyboard press (such as "del" with all cells selected!!) As I already told you, I would instantly buy poise if I was 100% sure it will have this undo feature in the 64 bits upcoming version. |

Hi Frozenjazz,
I'm not planning on implementing a undo feature. I'm not even sure if it's possible with the way the Poise innards are currently structured. Sorry to disappoint you. Shannon |

Thanks for your quick an honest answer!
I guess I'll still buy Poise when 64bits is out But when I tried Poise, the lack of undo really frustrated me on some occasions. Just another quick question, as I did not check the latest versions: do you have several "banks", allowing to load more than 16 samples ? I have a mpd18 that has 3 banks and I would love to use one Poise instance to "load" my mpd18 with more than 16 sounds. The last small question concerns stereo samples: I would love to know if a sample is stereo or not. It is ok to have a mono waveform, but a small indication (like a small "s" somewhere) to indicate that this sample is stereo would be cool, as a reminder. That being said, Poise rocks, I especially love the ease of use to drag drop sounds and stack them on a single pad, or switch to "single" mode and then be able to keep several possible variations of a sound on a single pad and try them alternatively. |
