Hey guys, here's a new demo I'm working on...decided to record guitars and bass with JamUp Pro on the iPad into Cubase 5 on my PC. I used EZDrummer for the drum tracks and Music Studio to add cymbals and sweep effects. Loaded into NanoStudio for some synth and compression and eq...let me know what you think....still have to finish and write leads...lol

Hey Derek, what's behind your decision to use NanoStudio for compression?

I have not purchased any "extras" for NanoStudio so I haven't had any experience with the add-on effects.

Truthfully, Nanostudio was my last stop in my chain of adding instruments...they have the best synth sound IMO. I think all the effects are able to be used without purchase...normally I would bounce each track into multitrack daw but I was playing around with effects in nano and the compression seemed to work..pumped up the sound, nicely. This, probably won't be my final mix as I am never satisfied until the final day of submitting a piece to be released so who knows what will happen next...just trying to demonstrate various ways of incorporating idevices and pc to produce music. Plus I used Nanostudio alone...for two releases on my debut album Afterthoughts (New Groove and Sandstorms). Worked out well.
