Oh come on, get over yourself already. You take jabs at Diva all the time, it seems to be your hobby, and no matter how you dress it up is is what it is. You say whatever you can to minimize Diva and if anyone says anything in its favor you scream. I don't see how you take offense with others when you are doing more of the same.

Person Z : Synth C is better than A + B <<< Advertising

That is not advertising, that is the persons opinion and they are free to state it and I have seen more than one occasion where exactly this happened and person X came back and said thanks for the suggestion and purchased synth C

It may also be in this case that person Z said that to stir the pot. I do not know their motivation in this case. If that is the case, just ignore it.

I would normally agree with that, but in the context of what thread this is, I sincerely doubt it's meant innocently.

You can go back and read my posts here from the start, I posted my opinion being helpful and if anything I was advising to buy Saurus so you should be happy because that is your baby. But what if I though Saurus was a turd, what does it matter to you? I'm entitled to post my opinion as much as you are. You are not a cop.

no they weren't. An 82 Supra in mint condition is a damn fine car and i would rather drive it every day than a Lamborghini, that was really the point and a compliment to Saurus being efficient. You really need to try and not get upset at everything on the internet.

Oh come off it , you posted two really nice pics of cars with a kind of family car in a car park.

That's like putting up a Veyron, Enzo and a Ford Fiesta.

Ha, my friend has a Supra and we had loads of fun driving very very fast in it, it is a pocket rocket and I highly respect it. It is no Festiva (I had one of those btw so I know what I'm talking about). I admired the Supra very much and it was posted with affection. Later Supras are even better but I was thinking of early 80's analog synths, so picked that year. What can I say but that it shows my age.

Anyhow, my apologies to the OP for the car analogies that came out of a boat analogy regarding virtual analog synths. I'm outside here. I like synths but I don't want to argue this anymore. Minimonsta or Saurus, at full price I pick Saurus and if you can get Minimonsta for cheap that would be my recommendation, I doubt you'll find many Saurus licenses used right now.

Hi Examigan,

apologies from me too. If i contributed to the derailment of this thread it was not my intention, for sure not with my first Saurus/Diva comment/comparison i posted.

I really hope that besides those other discussions and/or "fights" you got some useful informations from this thread.

BTW i finished my Saurus presets today (more than 100) and sent them to Bastiaan. I am working on demos now, also on re-rendering the ones i already posted with updated and/or different presets.

Best wishes,
Ingo

No worries Ingo, and thanks for all the info.

I'd like to hear those presets, will you be making any sort of short demo for those? I mean, as in a post on Soundcloud? Or does Bastiaan have to check them out first? Sorry, lots of questions HiHi

Hi,

i'll re-render (or already done) the two last demo songs i published with updated and/or different presets and post them today.
I'll also do short preset demos which should be sorted by categories but first send those to Bastiaan. Later i'll also publish those on Soundcloud.
