Dimension is good, but by trying to satisfy many tastes it positions itself as a "middle of the road" pop-rock rompler. If you are after specific building tools for hiphop, drum loops, I would look elsewhere. Where would you recommend for cheap or free? Reason 6 demobank rewired for free, all the synths and drums you could wish for, just record the audio into your sequencer and the jobs a good one |

Whatever the case, I don't feel right doing that. Do any of you know how good the drum samples and hiphop style samples sound in Dim Pro? |

Given our recent discussion, I would lean toward saying yes. For $37 it is almost a no-brainer. I agree with Numanoid that it is a good middle-of-the-road VI. I think that is what you're looking for at this point. It has a lot of sounds for little money. You can also edit the sounds if they aren't quite what you want.
It's too bad you couldn't get the deal they had on Rapture a couple of weeks ago. It was $20, but you had to have Sonar 7 or X1. I am tempted to get DimPro myself at that price, but I've already bought like 10 or 15 things over the last year, so I need to really use what I have before I buy more. ---- This space has been unintentionally left blank. |

Music radar for instance got free hip hop samples:
http://www.musicradar.com/news/tech/sampleradar-316-free-hip -hop-samples-248617 And then you can use the great free shortcircuit sampler to split, layer, stretch, more or less anything you want to do |

I think they will work with Dimesion LE, that can load wav samples as I rememeber Haven't tried dropzone, but pretty certain it will load wav file samples, it's kind of a minimum requirement for samplers to do that |

Well, if anyone is interested to buy it, I could sell it at a lower price, since I have it twice on my Cakewalk account. I bought it a while ago, then I just bought Sonar X-1 Producer upgrade that includes it. If anyone is interested, just let me know and I will check with Cakewalk how one license can be transfered... |
