Hi
Iv'e put the Eve data folder in my documents and have put the two dll's in vst folder .
I use Synapse Orion as my DAW and along with Wuzikstation , Eve shows in the insert list .
When i launch Eve i can see all the presets in browser but if i select any a white strip appears saying presets can't be found .
I haven't tried using Eve for a few days and now whenever i try and launch it , a browser box comes up instead wanting me to locate the Eve folder and i haven't even touched the data folder , a fatal error message from Orion comes up saying that skins can't be found as well .
Can anybody here help ? i'm using windows xp home edition and Wuzikstation works fine .
Thanks in advance
kevin

I have downloaded the Orion v8.5 demo, and EVE v3.0.4 seems to run fine.

So it looks like an installation problem.

Please tell me the exact location of your My Documents folder. (Right-click on the My Documents folder to find the real location)

Ensure that the EVE Data\EVE Skins\Default folder contains at least the files as shown:

Here is how to select the EVE Data folder by double-clicking on EVE Data:

Kevin, please, compare the folders of Asseca and yours, its clear that things are not named correctly. There shouldn't be "Sounds_" in the folders name. Also, do a search for *EVE*.* on your entire computer to check if you don't have another EVE DATA folder. Maybe do a search for about.bmp on your entire computer plus another search for *Waveforms*.*

Also, before Orion gives you that message above, did you get any other messages? I think you told me in the support area about other messages before that one.

Hi William
I didn't have screenshot handy as i wasn't expecting the messages and when i tried to capture the messages it came up with the one I've posted .
Have just tried opening Eve in Orion to capture messages you wanted to see and of all the weird things its loaded properly and i haven't touched the data folder or anything , its bizarre .
All the presets are showing but if i try to select one a white strip appears saying file missing , code O followed by the path that the data folder is in .
i can't take a screenshot of this as it disappears as i click screen capture .
Heres what came up

The white strip is telling you that the SOUNDS are missing. Wusik EVE, just like Wusik Station, has Presets and Sounds. A Preset is all the settings and sounds selected for a Preset (program). As I said already, looking at your EVE DATA Folder screenshot, the folder names of your sounds are incorrect, as they have "Sounds_" in the name when it shouldn't, just look to what Asseca posted. Rename the folders and it will start working again. Wink

Hi William
At last , it works Smile
What i did was take all the folders out of the sounds folder and put them in the main data folder and pressed folder and saw all the files shown by Asseca in the same order and I've launched Eve and can now hear it so i'm happy and so far it sounds great .
Thanks for your help .
