You mean like this? http://ehg3iu.1fichier.com/en/ (1 PW-modulated sine wave / filter off. Will let you guess what synth it is.) |

1. all my other plugs are now 64bit; if Logic X no longer supports 32bit plugs...i'm done. 2. even the last version, a beta, works...EXCEPT on lion and logic. 3. just looking for, at the least, compatibility. whatever strengths or weaknesses S1 has...i love it, it's my ugly GF... I don't do music on MACs any more and not trying to say you don't have trouble with it but...the Sylenth Master class I referenced above in CM Dub Step issue was done using Sylenth 64 bit on OSX Lion in Logic. there IS no 64bit AU for mac; it's 64bit on a pc, and 32bit ONLY on mac (trust me, i've been thru this with Lennard...). You mean like this? http://ehg3iu.1fichier.com/en/ (1 PW-modulated sine wave / filter off. Will let you guess what synth it is.) Yep, like that, it becomes a sort of variant of phase distortion when you use non-pulse waveforms like sine. Chipsounds' Nintendo Wave channel lets you do PWM in a 4-bit environment and on sine waves it sounds like a robot talking = WIN. No idea what synth that is, I know that PWM on sines is dealt with slightly differently on different synths, in regards to how much the corners of the wave get pinched compared to the rest, but there are just too many synths out there for me to guess (Though I did identify a pitchshifter on someone's track much to their amazement a few days ago). Is it Predator? That handles something like what I saw on the waveform. |

Not Predator. Some more hints. If you still cant guess i will tell. + You can width-modulate all waveforms, as in all waveforms that can exist. (Even noise, although thats pointless.) + You can set an exact centerpoint and the precise intensity of the width modulation (forward or backward) around that centerpoint. + The synth has 3 OSCs and can simultaneously process 2 WFs per OSC. (Use of 2nd WF is optional.) + The WFs can be morphed, spread, bent, shaped, shifted around, everything + All of the above (and everything else) can be modulated in the exact same way as width + Modulations are not either-this-or-that, all parameters can be modulated together and at the same time by whatever source you select (You seem to know your synths so im pretty sure you know now which one it is.) |

Over a 4-5 year period, this would have to be my most used synth. IMO the most versatile synth every made... ---- Eye of the Beholder (Ulrich Schnauss Remix) - http://soundcloud.com/kindred-sounds/kriece-pres-shamatha-eye-of-1 http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kriece/15099440441?sk=app_178091127385 http://soundcloud.com/kriece |
