Well it's got the makings of a Marshall head... Although I have seen a Mesa with similar corner work and mesh. I guess this is the type of hint I asked for |

FrantzM, sorry, no.
It is not a Marshall Haze series portable cab. Last edited by Brian @ IK Multimedia on Tue Jun 12, 2012 6:12 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Excellent news on the Marshalls. About time. I hope this can get distorted without sounding as overly bright and harsh as I feel the current Marshall's are. |

Alright, here's a knob for you!
There also may be a few more hints about it hidden around the IK Forum... |

Bad ass, sir. I think I recognize this ;D
[Edit]: Do you guys plan to release these piece by piece like 3.7.x-onwards or as a big chunk called 3.8.0? Might be a little too revealing to answer this though, haha Last edited by Kontrast13 on Tue Jun 12, 2012 7:32 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Funkybot - without either confirming or denying that this amp may or may not be Marshall-based in some way, I would remind you that the British Tube Leads are over 10 years old, and even the British Lead S100 and Vintage Metal Lead are 5 years old or more. They all predate AmpliTube Fender, which really pushed amp modeling to a new level, and AmpliTube 3, which continued to build on that new foundation.
I've been playing with this new gear for a little while, and I would venture to say the bar has been raised yet again. |

I'm a huge Amplitube fan and I really like the Plexi from Amplitube JHE, but never cared too much for the other Marshalls. If this is as good as (or dare I say even better than) the Copper AC30, the AT Fender, or the Orange amps have been, then I'm all in. I was one of the guys here pushing hard for an Amplitube Marshall, so you have high expectations from me... |
