I haven't tried this yet but if it works then you could take your favorite c/r DAW, Plugin etc with you and use it anywhere, on ANY PC!

This has been around for a long time, its mostly used by hackers to boot into a temporary OS that can access all the files on a computer, it leaves no trace that you were ever there.
I.. don't see how this would be used like you're saying. You're better off just getting Reaper or something to run off a USB stick. |

I was thinking if it works for programs like Live or even NI.
Sometimes you travel and you can't take your PC with you. I don't think it's illegal, I'm still the owner of that program just using it from a flash drive occasionally. Is that illegal you think? If it works in the first place..... ---- MuLab 4, Studio One v2. In that order. |

I think that's essentially a live USB Linux OS, pretty old concept.
Best could be trying VNC or similar software instead on iPad or laptop. |

I thought it also said windows in the second link.
I dislike dongles but they are better than c/r IMO cause I can move around, which I do a lot and many times with different laptop due to my business and my NI plugins become unavailable. ---- MuLab 4, Studio One v2. In that order. |
